I wanted to share some photos from my trip to Alaska to visit Josh, my husband, back in June. My sweet hubby surprised me with tickets to come see him out in Ketchikan over my birthday. The trip came quick and the same week I found out I was going, I was already off on a plane to see him. I took the ferry over from the airport and watched float planes landing in front of us, cruise ships coming in and even saw a whale spout all within 10 minutes of being off my plane. Josh picked me up from the ferry and we grabbed some yummy burgers from a little shack down the road. That night we went out to a little beach spot and had some drinks around the fire while watching whales jumping and spouting! We lucked out and had sunshine every single day while I was there. On my birthday I got to go on a helicopter ride and see Ketchikan and its surroundings from above, a pizza lunch date with my love and then a yummy dinner downtown with dessert!! and finished it off with a sunset walk around a beautiful lake! Some other fun things were seeing creek street, watching the cruise ships come in and walking right down on the dock next to them, a few different beach trips including some waterfalls. Some yummy food and drinks and strolling through downtown, but the best was getting to fly out and watch Josh do his job!! prepare yourself for photo overload, some film and digital! – I’ll spare you the iPhone photos!
