I am really proud to showcase this shoot. It took a lot of amazing people to bring it together but it was well worth it! My initial inspiration for the shoot came when I kept seeing Erica Thune’s paintings and always thought how cool would that be as a backdrop. What do you know, after bringing up the idea to her she immediately jumped on board and was willing to be my bride model! We started coming up with ideas and brining the shoot to life. I knew we needed some stunning gowns, something with texture and glam. KWH Bridal had the perfect gowns and ended up sending over two incredibly perfect dresses. I knew I wanted to reach out to Melinda rose designs for accessories because she always has great bridal jewelry options. We found the perfect veil and earring that had a glam art-deco feel. I asked a dear friend to do hair and makeup, and she absolutely nailed it! Carlie of hidden beauty by Carlie gave our bride the perfect glam look and such a fun low updo to showcase the veil. I knew we need to go bold with some of the pieces so throwing a bright bold lip in and some fun floral heels really pulled the look together. The cherry on top was the stunning art-deco inspired ring form Olive Avenue Jewelry! As for our groom (Mac) I knew he had to look just as stylish and needed some boldness too. I found the perfect blue blazer that really pulled from the backdrop Erica made and the floral tie to match everything from Dazi USA. Mac also had some cool glasses that I think really pulled his look together. Amy at Roberts floral created a stunning bouquet that was the perfect mix of boho and glam. We all ran out to the perfect spot set up in the 24 MPH winds ( yep it was quite the adventure) and shot until the sun set! Mac also brought along his guitar so he strummed a little for us which made their emotions that much more genuine. My sweet father-in-law drove out Herbee their bug to let us shoot some portraits with too, I had this image floating around in my head when the shoot first came about. I wanted to get a shot of Erica putting on her lipstick in the car, and it is one of my favorite shots!
